The reason I had to give up meditating is I'd dishonored so many mindfulness agreements that I couldn't trust that anything would work since I never kept true to any of the previous things.
It just got less and less and less workable until there was no possibility left.
So I got back to the heart of the issue. My agreement to catch and replace. That if negative thoughts ("troll thoughts") took the wheel, I'd catch them and re-program the thought by rerunning the reaction back over, this time responding positively.
In doing so, I re-discovered myself as my word. My word is to be a positive, happy, smiley person. To have positivity win out over negativity. To be 90% positive. And honoring my word starts with honoring this basic foundation.
